I’m thrilled to share some very exciting news: this weekend, Plant Futures will be on the ground with the press at Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas - one of the world’s largest music festivals - to spotlight the rise of plant-based food and sustainability in the festival world. 🪩✨
This is a huge milestone for Plant Futures - and a deeply personal one for me! This will be my sixth EDC – which I’ve attended both in Vegas and Mexico City!
For past 17 years, the electronic music and festival community has been a huge part of my life. 🎶✨ Festivals have been places of inspiration, connection, and joy - and now, through Plant Futures, I get to bring my passion for plant-based food, sustainability, and culture change onto one of the biggest stages in the world. 🌱💚
As a movement that now spans over 90 universities globally, Plant Futures is powered by young leaders who believe that influencing culture is essential to shaping the future.
Moments like this - when plant-powered living and mainstream music festivals intersect - represent a massive opportunity to inspire, shift mindsets, and accelerate change. 🚀🌎
EDC is helping redefine the future of the music and festival industry - showcasing how massive events can evolve to embrace more sustainability, innovation, and community values. 🌱🎶
Being part of this cultural evolution makes this moment even more powerful, and we’re honored to contribute by highlighting how plant-based food fits into that future.
Last year, we captured the plant-based movement at Portola Music Festival - interviewing DJs, plant-based vendors, and festival organizers (check it out here) - and now, we’re taking it even bigger! 🎥
